I just have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!  My mom turns 70 today.  

Mom is the youngest 70 year old you will ever meet and has many haters as she still wears her low cut shirts to show off her cleavage.  She refuses to get old.

She is the inspiration for this bloggers love of vintage things.  My mom brought me up on old movies, especially old horror and  monster movies.  Mom is still a huge horror fanatic and scifi junkie.  (I feel sorry for her new boyfriend that has to put up with watching nothing but horror and scifi.)

I have to share one story about my mom.  When I was a little boy mom took me to a drive in theater to watch The Exorcist.  Years later I asked her: “What the hell were you thinking taking a kid to see The Exorcist?”. She answered me: “I was scared and needed you there with me and besides you made it through it just fine”.  

I asked her what do you want for your birthday.  She told me: “I need The Thing, The Blob, Tarantula, and THEM! on DVD”… God Bless her.
